"Pa-Siyam" tells of how a family, whose members have grown cold towards each other, is re-awakened when the mother dies under very mysterious circumstances. To ensure the repose of the mother's soul, the five children (played by Roderick Paulate, Cherry Pie Picache, Maricar de Mesa, Yul Servo, and Aubrey Miles) embark on a nine-day novena or the pa-siyam.

But instead of creating an atmosphere of peace, the pa-siyam triggers an onslaught of eerie and even horrifying events that threaten to worsen the situation of the already dysfunctional family.
